Instead of going to the South end of the lake like yesterday, this time we went to the North, renting a kayak from Log Cabin Resort. It was definitely a more windy, narrower road to get here compared to Lake Crescent Lodge. I actually preferred the environment at Log Cabin more. There were more grassy areas to sit on, and there was a more relaxed feel to it. It was smaller, and seemed more intimate.

Tandem kayaked for an hour, just enjoying the clear blue-ish/green waters, looking at the homes, and appreciating the views all around us. It got pretty hot out.
Afterwards, we relaxed and ate one of our meals that would be repeated many times this trip -- bagel sandwich.
From here, we originally thought we would drive to Neah Bay and Cape Flattery, possibly check out the museum, and then head South to Lake Ozette for our overnight stay. We were a little torn though, so we decided to take the scenic hwy 112 route to Clallam Bay, and then decide from there if we would continue NW to Neah Bay, or just head to Lake Ozette.
We got to Clallam Bay a little after 2:30pm, and decided to stretch our legs at the beach. It was very erie, there were huge, dark clouds creeping in from the ocean. Windy and pretty chilly here.

We got to Lost Resort around 4:30pm or so. What a cute little cabin! There are only three, since it is mainly a campground area. No restrooms in the cabins, but port-o-potties nearby. We rested, read, played games, and attempted to make a campfire. Was only semi-successful. Basic PB and J sandwiches for dinner.
